Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plant Manager to join our team at Appolo Hydropower Company. As a leading player in the Hydropower/Alternate Energy industry, we are seeking a driven individual with a passion for renewable energy to manage our plant operations. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our hydropower project.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of the hydropower plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and uptime
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize plant performance
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
Manage plant budget and ensure cost-effective operations
Supervise and provide leadership to a team of plant operators and maintenance staff
Liaise with government agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed
Report on plant operations and performance to senior management
Develop and implement plans for plant upgrades and expansions
Stay updated on industry developments and trends to ensure the plant remains at the forefront of technology and innovation.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized educational institution
At least 1 years of experience as a plant operator in a hydropower project
Strong technical knowledge of hydropower operations and maintenance
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the hydropower industry.

Note: The applicants will be working onsite at the Khijidemba Rural Municipality in Okhaldhunga.
