Roles and responsibilities of this job

A renowned multinational Indian company is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer / Contract Manager to oversee project scheduling, planning, and contract management for our infrastructure and water treatment EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning tools, contract administration, and progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules
Track project progress, identify delays, and develop mitigation plans
Develop look-ahead schedules and progress reports
Support EOT (Extension of Time) claims and recovery planning
Coordinate with site teams, project managers, and stakeholders
Manage contracts, variations, claims, and contractual correspondence
Identify contractual risks and propose mitigation measures
Ensure compliance with FIDIC contract terms and project milestones
Collaborate with Quantity Surveying, Planning, and project teams for integrated project delivery

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and contract management
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
Experience in infrastructure or water treatment projects, preferably EPC projects
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and standard project documentation
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
