The physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning and providing physical rehabilitation and associated services to people with functional impairment/disability including children with a birth defect and women with reproductive impairment to prevent mortality, morbidity and disability

• Assess functional capacities and identify rehabilitation needs of the patients/clients 
  
• Being based upon the outcomes of the assessment, elaborate an appropriate rehabilitation plan that might include the provision of mobility aids, specific items and prosthesis and orthotics appliances.
  
• Coordinate and attend regular interdisciplinary meeting to discuss patient progress and adapt treatment and care plans accordingly 
  
• Deliver safe and appropriate comprehensive rehabilitation/physiotherapy interventions as per needs of clients.
  
• Develop home-based care plans for each patient before discharge and teach both patient and caregiver to carry out exercises at home 
  
• Contribute to the development of physiotherapy treatment protocols and assist in the training of new staff and/or partners 
  
• Conduct community outreach physiotherapy care as required 
  
• Conduct physical exercise sessions with caretakers and facility staff on a regular basis 
  
• Write case notes, reports and data entry 
  

Duration: Minimum one year with possibility of extension
