About the job

As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operations of Pathao Parcel. Your role is crucial in strategizing, planning, and executing initiatives to drive efficiency, productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership and decision-making skills are essential for ensuring smooth operations across various departments, including hub facilities.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with seniors to align operational goals with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for operational improvement and growth.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of department heads and operational staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Set clear expectations, goals, and performance targets for team members, and regularly evaluate their performance.
  • Engage, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, encouraging a positive work environment.
  • Plan and organize work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor team performance to meet operational goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, objectives, and operational updates.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to procedures.
  • Promote effective communication and coordination among departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity.

Resource Management:

  • Optimize the allocation and utilization of resources, including human resources, equipment, and technology.
  • Implement systems to track and monitor resource utilization, costs, and performance.
  • Identify and resolve resource constraints to ensure smooth operations.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with third-party logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation for outside valley operations.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Management and dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and minimize transportation costs.
  • Manage and resolve shipping issues in coordination with relevant merchants.

Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction:

  • Establish and monitor quality control measures to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Implement customer feedback mechanisms and analyze satisfaction metrics to drive improvements.
  • Collaborate with customer service and other departments to address customer concerns and enhance the overall experience.
  • Collaborate with all departments to address and resolve customer complaints or quality issues.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Implement strategies to proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular checks of hub facilities to identify potential difficulties and address them promptly.

Performance Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics such as on-time delivery and efficiency.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors completed / Masters running
  • Candidate must have an minimum 2 year experience in logistic Company
  • Friendly and team player.
  • Note: Candidates must have work experience in a logistics company.
