• Operating HTST presses. Batching non-alcoholic beverage products
• Monitors all products for temperature, processing and cooling, does not operate if temperatures are not correct. Monitors all equipment for compliance to HACCP
• Ensures that all tanks, lines and fillers are properly cleaned prior to use
• Ensures that all charts and documents meet company, state and federal requirements, (complete, accurate, properly dated, marked and signed etc.)
• Keep the HTST room in compliance to regulatory standards
• Process products in a timely manner to be available for packaging as needed.
• Plans product flow to facilitate having an efficient work day and minimize downtime in the plant to a minimum
• Knowledge of operation in SCADA. Expertly execute the pasteurizing process including homogenization.
• Perform basic maintenance and replace parts on the equipment as necessary
• Operate automated CIP systems to clean entire HTST system, separator, homogenizer, storage tanks, lines, and associated filling equipment. This includes the manual sanitation of all removable parts (COP) and preparation for CIP.
• Perform sanitary maintenance of valves, pumps, seals, gaskets that are part of the HTST, separator, homogenizer, blending, storage vessels and transfer lines.
• Perform periodic teardown inspections of equipment and replace worn parts, if necessary.
