  • At least 3-5 years of experience working as counselor at community level and have completed minimum six month training from esteemed institution 
  • Core Competencies: Knowledge and skills in counseling, capacity to lead a group of traumatized as well as individual, capacity to make case study and can work in stressful situations and during off days, when it requires
  • Responsibility: Case identification, counseling, documentation, training and reporting

Job Description

  • Provide psychological counseling support to the victims, survivors of the earthquake or other traumatized people who approach WHR for such support or are identified as people needing such support
  • Keep updated record of each individual client and maintain an effective documentation system
  • Network with appropriate service centers for referral of critical cases
  • Liaison with related organizations, institutes for availing the services, which might be useful for the clients
  • Maintain confidentiality of the clients.
  • Prepare related reports for organizational documentation and reference

Duty Station : Kathmandu and Gorkha with frequent visit to programme areas
Contract period: six months
