About the organization
Shweta Shree Foundation (SSF) was established on 26th February, 2017, as a non-profit, charity oriented towards social service. SSF focuses on providing help to underprivileged and ultra-poor people so that they can help themselves to face their economic and social hardships and eventually become independent. The Foundation was established in the fond memory of Late Shree krishna Shrestha, one of the famous cine and theater actors of Nepal, by his life companion Mrs. Ranjana Khadka who is well-known by her nick name SHWETA.
Mrs. Khadka was encouraged to establish this Foundation by the Majhi tribe of Sindhupalchok District. This happened when, Mrs. Khadka visited the Majhi Community to see the impact of the Mega earthquake of April, 2015. She was overwhelmed by the painful situation the Majhi families were going through. The maximum pain to her heart, She found that people were living inside the fragile huts. Mrs. Khadka made an announcement to develop an integrated model settlement equipped with modern facilities for the suffering people. After this announcement she established the ‘Shweta-Shree Foundation’ to implement the project entitled Integrated Model Settlement for the Majhi people of Jhyadi, on the bank of Indrawati, a tributary to Nepal's largest river system, Koshi.
SSF invites applications from the energetic, committed and creative Nepali citizens for the post of Sub Engineer based in Sindhupalchock..
