Job Description

Overall responsibilities: 

  • This position is responsible for managing and performing the duties of Ophthalmologist for clients of the company  
Specific Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform duties of Ophthalmologist screening clients 
  • Assessing and examining clients in order to make a prescription 
  • Managing ophthalmic conditions, taking into account both medical and psychological aspects of patient care 
  • Screen disease and injury of eyes 
  • Participate in community-oriented Eye care programs and screening/treatment camps 
  • Participate in teaching, learning, and research activities 
  • Be involved in eye health planning in coordination with Clinical department and authorities for the  betterment of the department  
  • Ensure proper handling of all equipment
