Job Description

The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize daily business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments, managing diverse stakeholders, and implementing strategies to achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in leadership roles, particularly in the technology or hospitality sectors, and possess the ability to navigate fast-paced environments effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure seamless execution across all business processes.
  • Collaborate with departments to align operations with strategic organizational goals.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including international partners.
  • Represent the organization in meetings with foreign stakeholders to discuss strategies and partnerships.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships and ensure clear communication channels.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams to meet performance objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and address skill gaps through training initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic business initiatives.
  • Forecast resource requirements and plan for future operational needs.

Travel and Representation:

  • Plan and undertake domestic and international travel to meet with stakeholders and oversee global operations.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate operations and enhance collaboration.

Financial and Risk Management:

  • Manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational profitability.
  • Monitor financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
  • Address customer feedback and maintain high-quality product or service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role, such as Operations Manager or similar positions.
  • Strong knowledge of operational workflows and business processes.
  • Fluency in English, Nepali, and Hindi is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including international partners.
  • Prior experience in the technology and/or hospitality industries is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
