Fire and Ice Pizzeria first opened its doors in Kathmandu, Nepal, in January of 1995. The restaurant immediately became a popular destination for travellers, mountaineers and local residents alike to sit back and enjoy the true tastes of Italy from the base of the Himalayas; whether this was a morning cup of Italian Espresso or delicious pizza, pasta or organic salad. Fire and Ice Pizzeria became the spot for sharing tales of adventures with friends.

  • Proven experience of operations management, ideally in the restaurant sector 
  • Demonstrable experience of man-management
  • IT Literacy: experience working with IT/digital systems including PoS, Accounting, Stock Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written & verbal
  • Professional in presentation
  • Demonstrable literacy in finance and accounting - P&L, Balance Sheets, Cashflow, etc.
  • Relevant experience from international employers is a bonus

Job Description

  • Supports continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
  • Keeps a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Handle cash transactions for customers, make excel sheets for daily, weekly and monthly financial records
  • Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously
  • Performs other accounting tasks as needed
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Supervise  other staff on their work 
  • Communicate with the guests  by greeting, and directing them appropriately
