Job Description

To settle guide for updates, feature enhancement and other IT drives to further improve performance.
To intermittently review execution of existing business applications for their productivity and adequacy; review Service Level Agreement and need to upgrade / improve them; Provide direction on escalated issues.
To finalize IT Infra guide in arrangement with business requirements, include upgrades and technology obsolescence; characterize areas of progress of IT Infra performance in light of existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency; assess risks (Single Point of Failure) related with current IT framework and network; plan risk mitigation and remediation techniques and SOPs.
To settle security strategy to mitigate internal and external threats
To plan all on-proceeding to design projects with IT Strategy roadmap and convey forward for execution just those projects including in the business strategy and send periodical report to functional heads on updates.
To review and monitor policies and procedures, measurement parameters and escalation procedure as well as that of back up policies and set clear performance & risk indicators along with RACI in the amended policies & procedures
To work with IT panels for various organizations and Corporate IT Steering board of trustees to set out the procedures and controls to guarantee regulatory and legal compliance
To conduct a Gap Audit between current IT processes and benchmarked processes
To recognize and survey functional and strategic risk related with various IT solutions
To develop Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to manage risks
To identify, evaluate, shortlist and negotiate with vendors for procurement of HW, SW and Services for Infra and Apps
To characterize new and routine IT Investments by categories and set usefulness rules for the same; screen office day to day costs to ensure cost optimization and cost control
