Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Officer – Mobile Loan and Recovery will play a key role in supervising field-based loan operations while ensuring strong portfolio quality and customer relationship management. This position is responsible for guiding the mobile loan team, driving business growth, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The role requires a proactive individual who can balance field operations with strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and team performance management to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, guide, and support the mobile loan team to meet business, collection, and operational targets
Plan and monitor daily field activities, customer outreach, and lead-generation efforts
Review loan applications for accuracy and conduct initial credit assessment before forwarding for approval
Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, management, and cross-department teams
Liaise with external stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to ensure smooth field operations and data support
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and motivation to team members
Handle escalated customer issues and ensure quality service delivery
Support in planning strategies for market expansion, field campaigns, and portfolio quality improvement

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Master’s Degree completed (preferably in Management, Finance, Economics, or related field)
Relevant experience in a bank or financial institution, especially in credit or loan operations
Prior supervisory or team-leading experience preferred
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills
Ability to plan, monitor, and drive team performance
Sound knowledge of credit assessment, compliance, and risk management
Two-wheeler driving license.
