Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Prepare and review engineering reports, daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
Assist in site supervision, monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Prepare, review, and manage contract documents, including BOQs, technical specifications, and correspondence.
Review and support implementation of FIDIC-based contract conditions, including variations, claims, and contractual notices.
Maintain project records such as drawings, RFIs, submittals, method statements, and approvals.
Support planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring in coordination with the planning team.
Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
Assist in preparation of interim payment certificates (IPCs) and related documentation.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in hydropower or infrastructure projects

Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of hydropower civil structures (weir, intake, tunnel, powerhouse, headrace, tailrace, etc.)
Working knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to prepare professional engineering and progress reports
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and document control systems
Ability to work independently under site conditions
