Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Node.js Backend Intern to join our team. This is an unpaid, learning-based internship designed to provide hands-on experience in backend development within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Interns will receive 2 hours of daily mentorship from experienced professionals and have the opportunity to work on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
Implement data storage solutions using databases like MongoDB.
Integrate third-party APIs and services.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of coding practices.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure scalability.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in backend development.
Work on real-world projects to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting.

Requirements:

Solid understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js.
Basic understanding of database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React.js).
Previous internship or project experience in backend development is a plus.
