Position Overview:

Node.js Developer is a responsible member of Mobile Apps development team, the largest team at EB Pearls. This position is responsible for developing projects as per clients’ requirements. Node.js developer reports directly to the Project Manager and is accountable for the Project Development.

1. Project Accountability

Understand the project requirements clearly
Generate queries in case there is any confusion in understanding the project
Discuss any technical challenges that might come affront while working on the project
Realize the project delivery date and understand the communication channels
Write codes to develop a quality product on time
Conduct first hand testing of the project tasks before submitting the tasks to the Project Manager
Verify the product with SRS

2. Adapt to EB Work Culture

Attend project meetings conducted by Project Manager with full preparation by studying the project documents and information
Follow company coding standards

3. Team Coordination

Take ownership of the project from planning to the delivery of the project
Be easily approachable and flexible in work

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 2 years

Other Specification

Qualifications & Experience:

University Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent in relevant stream
Minimum 2 years of professional work experience in software development using technologies: Node.js

Required:

Strong coding and analytical skills
Knowledge of Express, StrongLoop etc. MEAN stack development
Strong knowledge of javascript template engine
Strong proficiency with JavaScript and front end framework like Angular or vue.js
Good database design and proficient in writing SQL queries
Good knowledge of NoSQL database like Mongodb
Experience in developing applications servicing large transactional system utilizing SQL
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its idiosyncrasies
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Understanding of web and mobile application architecture
Strong development experience with developing RESTful Web Services using Node js
Experience with 3rd party API integration like Twilio, payment gateway, AWS, google/facebook API
Prior work experience in the development of international level of projects
High level of personal and professional integrity and strong professional ethics

Preferred

Knowledge in PHP, Laravel or similar MVC frameworks
Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing and automation
Familiarity with CI/CD
Knowledge of firebase, AWS Technologies
Experience working in an Agile environment
