Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Proposal Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality technical and financial proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the qualitative delivery of proposals, concept notes and EOI.
Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
Analysing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
Meeting with potential agents to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
Understand the organizational goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance its performance
Ensure proper maintenance of record-keeping of all the proposals and project documents.
Evaluate the success and failure of the submitted proposals.
Prepare and maintain feedback documents from the client for periodic analysis and initiate necessary activities to incorporate the feedbacks and suggestions.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Required Age:Less than 35 years

Other Specification

Eligibility:

Bachelor in Business Administration, Environment science, Environment Engineering, Management or relevant. (Masters Preferred)
Proven experience working as a Proposal Development Officer or similar role with more than 2 years of experience (Experience in WASH preferred).
Fluency in English and Nepali Language.

Key Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of Government Procurement procedures, including tendering and bidding documentation.
Deep understanding of the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) sector, including its challenges and opportunities.
Proven experience in proposal development for WASH services and products.
Understanding of marketing strategies, business development, and client engagement relevant to WASH consultancy services and products
Market research skill exploring WASH-related business and opportunities with exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills
Effective communication skills with conceptual and critical thinking, including content creation skills
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
