About the job

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Node.js Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications, ensuring seamless data exchange between servers and client applications, and collaborating with front-end developers for efficient integration. You will also focus on writing efficient, secure, and scalable code while keeping up with the latest advancements in Node.js development.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure optimal performance of server-side applications and responsiveness to front-end requests.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic.
Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing UI components and back-end services to support various business processes.
Write clean, testable, reusable, and efficient code for high-performance applications.
Implement robust security protocols, data protection measures, and efficient storage solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, ensuring seamless functionality.
Document Node.js processes, including database schemas and codebase changes, and prepare technical reports as needed.
Identify, recommend, and implement improvements in processes and technologies to enhance application performance and maintainability.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Node.js and related technologies.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Node.js Developer.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
Solid understanding of Node.js and its frameworks, such as Express.js or Nest.js.
Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSocket development.
Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and React or Angular is a plus.
Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment pipelines.
Understanding of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
