Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent technology discipline and/ or equivalent related development experience in lieu of degree
Strong, modern coding skills and a passion for all things JavaScript, with recent experience using Node.js frameworks
Strong knowledge of Firebase
Strong working knowledge of AWS
Strong knowledge in developing microservices in node.js
An excellent understanding of best practices of API design
Commercial app development experience
Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (computer, storage, network data, and applications) to deliver end to end cloud infrastructure architectures and designs
2 years of experience automating infrastructure in a cloud environment, including the use of Git to automate the workflow of code from development to production
Excellent problem-solving capability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver solutions to timelines without sacrificing quality
High-attention to detail
Fast learning and effective problem solving, as well as a thirst for innovation and expanding your skills
Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to assess, estimate, plan and self-manage project work
Knowledge of cross-platform/hybrid mobile development is beneficial but not required
Design and implementation experience in SQL and NOSQL databases
