Role Description:

As a New Zealand Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students on their study abroad journey to New Zealand. Your responsibilities include providing personalized advice on course selection, fee structures, scholarship opportunities, visa requirements, and the application process for partner institutions. You will work closely with students to ensure a seamless and supportive experience throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel students on their study abroad journey, focusing on New Zealand as a destination.
  • Provide guidance on course selection, fee structures, scholarships, and application processes.
  • Ensure students meet all visa and immigration requirements.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of New Zealand’s educational institutions and programs.
  • Support students through end-to-end application procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions and stakeholders.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track student progress, manage inquiries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in events, workshops, and occasional weekend sessions to promote study abroad opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in education counseling, study abroad programs, student advising, or international education.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and other relevant systems to manage student applications and interactions.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to work with a diverse clientele.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other essential software.
