Other Specification
  • 5+ years of experience with network technologies and concepts along with related experience in networked environments
  • Experience in NSP/ISP is highly preferred

Must have hands on experience and very good knowledge of

  • Routing Protocols-IGP, EGP(BGP, OSPF Multi area)
  • Other Network Technology like MPLS-TE, MPLS-VPLS, FRR, BFD etc.
  • Metro Ethernet and its technology
  • Hardware- Multivendor device eg. cisco, juniper, mikrotik etc.

Job Summary

  • Carry out research and development in Network Technologies, network management tools, evaluate new products and services and provide technical recommendation.

Major Responsibilities

  • Stay keenly abreast of current and emerging technologies. Translate business requirements into practical, efficient, cutting-edge network infrastructure designs.
  • Maintain knowledge of networking technologies and leading industry trends.
  • Coordinate with vendors, test and evaluate new products, services, vendors and provide technical recommendation.
  • Provide inputs in troubleshooting using protocol analyzers, Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing concepts
  • Maintain and update network documentation including network diagrams and configurations, training documents, or technical presentations as required.
