Job Purpose:

• Responsible for all aspects of the network infrastructure including the installation, testing, administration and monitoring of network hardware, software and applications. Also participates in the research, analysis and recommendation of network technologies for implementation in the network.

Major Duties:

• Perform design, administration and configuration of all network equipment (L2 / L3)
• Monitor and maintain the network infrastructures, network management systemsand network security platforms. 
• Manage/ Provide support to clients as appropriate to ensure no disruption of service to the clients. 
• Install, configure and tests network devices, servers, internet services and relevant applications.
• Troubleshoots, resolve and documents network and IT infrastructure technical and performance issues. 
• Provide technical training for team members, other technical teams, and internal and external customers.
• Establish and implement IT security policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure server security.
• Must be able to monitor and handle the entire network under minimum or no supervision.
