Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nepali Teacher to join our team at Kathmandu World School. Our school is dedicated to providing quality education for students in grades 6-10, and as the Nepali Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping our students develop their language and cultural skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Lesson Planning

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured Nepali lessons for Grades 6–10.
Develop lesson plans in alignment with the curriculum and SEE examination guidelines.
Use diverse teaching methodologies to cater to different learning styles.

2. Student Performance & Assessment

Prepare students for internal assessments and the SEE board examination.
Design and evaluate tests, assignments, and projects to assess students' learning progress.
Provide constructive feedback and support students in improving their language skills.

3. Classroom Management & Student Engagement

Maintain a disciplined and interactive learning environment.
Use innovative teaching strategies to engage students effectively.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

4. Parental Communication & Student Support

Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress and areas of improvement.
Offer additional support and remedial classes to students as needed.

5. Extracurricular Activities & School Engagement

Organize and participate in language-based events, such as debates, poetry recitals, and essay competitions.
Support school-wide academic programs and activities.

6. Professional Development
