Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women's human rights and to ensure women empowerment with feminist value through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns- against violence against women, and women's economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. We currently work in 19 districts with district offices in Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Dang, Kailali, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rukum, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and, Surkhet with Central Office in Lalitpur. WOREC is currently looking for candidates to fulfill the following positions:

  • Knowledge and skills in participatory and result based monitoring tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical skill  and conceptual understanding of integrated right based approach, feminism, gender equality and social inclusion
  • Ability to articulate in English/Nepali in both verbal and in written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Should have computer knowledge(Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Job Description

  • Exhibits strong follow up skills to ensure assignments are completed
  • Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trust worthiness 
  • Have good understanding and knowledge on national and international laws, human rights instruments and mechanism, design and lead advocacy campaigns, identify the advocacy issues and advocate accordingly; and event/programme documentation and reporting skill both in English and Nepali.
  • Knowledge and skills in planning publicity/PR strategies, campaigns, organising promotional events like designing, writing and/or producing presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house' journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for web sites and promotional videos etc.
  • Sensitive and responsive towards issues related to gender and diversity
