Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator - 1 Position

Purpose: The position holder will be responsible to provide support to Project Manager for achieving the expected results of PIE project effectively and efficiently by developing and implementing M & E plan. S/he will maintain reporting requirements, sharing learning among stakeholders for improving the quality of PIE project implementation.

Terms and Location: Fixed term employment till 31st December 2019 based in Jumla Field Office, Khalanga.

Required Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Science (Research) or any relevant subject. 
  • At least 4 years of work experience in development projects particularly designing M&E plans and including a strong research background. 
  • Experience at synthesizing large amounts of data and information and distilling it in ways that enable practical action and informed decision making at all levels.  
  • Familiar with sampling techniques, qualitative and quantitative research methods, data 
  • Experienced in using statistical, analytical, database and other standard software i.e. Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS, etc. analysis, and M&E systems. 
  • INGO work experience preferred.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detail monitoring and evaluation plan of the project.
  • Ensure and support to implement prepared M & E plan.
  • Ensure update of monitoring data in SAP.
  • Prepare periodic monitoring report and review/ reflection reports of Jumla district and share with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Project and partner staff are oriented on M & E plan and are provided with necessary support in implementing M&E plan.  
  • Support Country Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Manager and Area Manager for carrying out its phase in study.
