A leading Manufacturing company in the alcoholic beverages industry is seeking a Modern Trade Officer to drive sales growth and strengthen relationships with key retail chains and organized trade partners. The role focuses on execution excellence, visibility, and revenue generation within modern trade channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with modern trade and key retail accounts to drive sales and ensure strong brand presence.
Ensure product availability, optimal shelf placement, and in-store visibility across assigned outlets.
Execute trade promotions, merchandising initiatives, and brand visibility programs.
Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and support achievement of assigned targets.
Coordinate with distributors and retail partners for timely stock replenishment and inventory management.
Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments.
Ensure compliance with company pricing, merchandising, and regulatory standards.
Prepare regular sales and market performance reports.
Skills, Qualifications & Job Specification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
3–4 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, beverage, or liquor industry
Understanding of modern trade operations, retail execution, and account management
Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills
Sales-oriented with analytical and problem-solving ability
Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools
Willingness to travel for retail visits and outlet management
Ability to work in a target-driven environment
