The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal (GWT(N)) is the field arm of The Gurkha Welfare Trust UK, a registered charitable Trust working particularly for the ex-Gurkha Veterans and their communities across Nepal. It is a charitable institution, established and registered in the UK in 1969. The GWT(N) ensures that Gurkha veterans, their widows and their wider communities are able to live their lives with dignity. We achieve this primarily through the provision of financial, medical and community aid.

The position is responsible for the management of the basic clinic facilities in the Area Welfare Centre (AWC)s, including consulting, examinations, procedures for visiting pensioners and dispensing medicine under the guidance of GWT doctors; and home visits to pensioners within the AOR of the AWCs. S/he will particularly visit vulnerable pensioners identified from each AWC and provide comprehensive assessments and primary care treatment.
