Job Description

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

  •  Must have qualified as PCL Nurse or Health Assistant or above
  • Must be registered with appropriate medical council in Nepal
  • Minimum of three years of work experience with GoN/Private hospitals/ Health Posts/centres
  • Experience of working in remote areas with Government/ international organizations preferable
  • Good Clinical skill and able to work effectively with both medical and non-medical staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, paying careful attention to detail and managing multiple tasks
  • Good Communication skills
  • Motorcycle license would be an advantage

Job Responsibilities:

The  position  will  be  responsible  for  the  management  of  the  basic  clinic  facilities  in  the  AWC  and  heavily involved in visiting vulnerable pensioners identified from each AWCs to provide comprehensive assessments and primary care treatment in close consultation with the Doctors. He/she must have the ability to analyze the situation and take appropriate decision during home visit within GWT(N) policies, being able to work independently and as part of a team, paying careful attention to detail and managing multiple tasks.
