Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mid-Level WordPress Developer with at least 2 years of experience in WordPress development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining dynamic websites, developing custom themes and plugins, ensuring optimal performance, and providing seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites with custom themes and plugins.
• Customize existing WordPress themes to meet specific client requirements.
• Integrate and configure third-party plugins as needed.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to ensure seamless website functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
• Perform regular updates and maintenance of websites.
• Implement security measures and ensure regular backups.
• Work with version control systems (Git) to manage projects.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of the WordPress CMS and its ecosystem.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
• Knowledge of WordPress plugin development and custom post types.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Experience with responsive design and ensuring mobile compatibility.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
• Experience working with MySQL databases.
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with website optimization tools and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with REST APIs and integrating external services.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce for e-commerce websites.
• Basic knowledge of server management and hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk).
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Experience in website migration, staging environments, and domain management.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred but not required based on experience).
