Job Description

Build up Nepal is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to supervise the work in our machine workshop in Lalitpur and coordinate the repair and maintenance of our machines in site. 
The work involves overseeing the repair and maintenance of all our machines as well as finding improvements. 

We are looking for a very HANDS-ON mechanical engineer who does not mind getting his/her hands dirty. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all machines are in good condition (150+ machines in different locations)
  • Supervise repair and testing of machines
  • Find solutions to reoccurring problems
  • Work with CAD to draft modifications to existing machines
  • Plan the work and lead a small team of 3-4 mechanics
  • Solve complex problems and find better solutions
  • Coordinate with external workshops
  • Quality control

You need to have practical workshop skills and previous experience of machine repair.
