Job Description

Develop detailed HVAC system designs based on project requirements, considering energy efficiency, environmental impact, and occupant comfort.
Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection of appropriate HVAC components.
Perform analysis and simulations to optimize mechanical systems for energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards.
Evaluate and troubleshoot existing mechanical and HVAC systems, recommending improvements and upgrades.
Manage projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and HVAC systems into building projects.
Stay abreast of local, state, and national building codes and regulations related to mechanical and HVAC systems.
Ensure designs and installations comply with all applicable codes and standards.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical and HVAC systems.

Conduct performance testing and inspections of mechanical and HVAC systems to verify compliance with design specifications.
Identify and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and functionality of installed systems.
