Job Description

  • Develop detailed HVAC system designs based on project requirements, considering energy efficiency, environmental impact, and occupant comfort.
  • Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection of appropriate HVAC components.
  • Perform analysis and simulations to optimize mechanical systems for energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot existing mechanical and HVAC systems, recommending improvements and upgrades.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and HVAC systems into building projects.
  • Stay abreast of local, state, and national building codes and regulations related to mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Ensure designs and installations comply with all applicable codes and standards.
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of project-related information and documentation.
  • Conduct performance testing and inspections of mechanical and HVAC systems to verify compliance with design specifications.
  • Identify and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and functionality of installed systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers.
