Job Description

Texas International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Level Maths Teacher to join our team. As a Maths Teacher, you should  be responsible for instructing students in secondary-level mathematics, fostering a stimulating learning environment, and inspiring students to excel in the subject.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver and engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum and standards, ensuring that all topics are comprehensively covered.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, creating a conducive learning atmosphere where students feel motivated and encouraged to participate.
  • Assess student learning through various methods such as exams, quizzes, projects, and presentations, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Cater to the diverse learning needs of students by providing individualized instruction and support to ensure each student's academic success.
  • Integrate technology into teaching practices to enhance learning experiences and facilitate student engagement with mathematical concepts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities, as well as participate in departmental meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with parents/guardians regarding students' progress, academic concerns, and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of secondary-level mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools and resources.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
