Material Engineer

Reports To: Project Manager  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensure all construction materials comply with project specifications and standards.
• Establish and manage the site laboratory, including equipment calibration and maintenance. 
• Conduct and document field and laboratory tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, and other  construction materials. 
• Prepare mix designs and ensure their approval prior to use in works.
• Maintain detailed test records and submit reports to the Engineer for review.
• Coordinate with site engineers and suppliers for material sourcing and quality  compliance. 
• Implement corrective actions in case of non-conformance in material quality.
