Artisan Bakery is part of the social business Akasha Life. Its main goal is to support healthy nutrition by offering a variety of high-quality baked goods. We support local production and consumption and carefully select our ingredients accordingly to promote the regional agriculture.

Artisan Bakery offers employment, especially to support the local youth. Being a social business, we also promote a balanced diet for children by bringing a part of our products as nutritious snacks to schools at affordable rates. Along with educational workshops on nutrition, this promotes the healthy development of the children.

Akasha Life is currently looking for a Marketing Trainee at Artisan Bakery in Suntakhan, Gokarneshwor Municipality.

Role of the position

The role of the Marketing Trainee will focus on the development and implementation of a brand and marketing strategy to strengthen the outreach and growth of the young organization. For the position, regular presence at the office in Suntakhan-3, Gokarneshwor will be required.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Develop and implement a branding and marketing strategy for health-conscious food items
Develop and manage online marketing materials
Develop social media content tailored to the target audience and manage accounts regularly
Enhance and innovate bakery products and activities to expand outreach
Identify, contact, and maintain relationships with new and potential customers
Research and participate in relevant exhibitions, food fairs, and farmers’ markets
Support in the execution of seasonal and festive promotions of the bakery

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Required skills and experience:

At least a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Studies, or related fields
Experience in online marketing
Interest in healthy food
Creative writing skills
Experience in the use of media design platforms (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
have a solid command of Nepali and English languages, both written and verbal,
have solid command of MS Office package (especially Excel, Word)
Drivers License (two-wheeler)

Ideally, you have

Experience in the health and food business sector
Skills in product and/or web design

Contract period: Initially 1 year, with the possibility of extension; long-term engagement envisioned, starting as soon as possible.
