Tibetan Handicraft & Paper (THP) Pvt. Ltd. is a leading Nepali producer and exporter of handmade Lokta paper and paper-based products. Under the Kathmandu Expansion and Design Innovation Project, THP aims to strengthen its production, product innovation, and export readiness. This position contributes directly to these goals through hands-on support, innovation, and coordination across teams.
The project — implemented under the Nepal in Business (NiB) framework — will upgrade production facilities, introduce seasonal design workshops, co-create three contemporary collections, and train artisans in design adaptation for stationery, décor, and handicraft segments. It will also prepare THP for FSC and Fair-Trade certifications and strengthen its branding and marketing capabilities.
