Job Description

  • Responsible for strategizing, planning, monitoring and optimizing marketing initiatives to build an umbrella of Brands amongst all stakeholders - shoppers, sellers and community
  • Marketing custodian for umbrella of brands under Daraz– Daraz Fashion, Daraz Mall, Daraz Mart and Daraz marketplace
  • Responsible to facilitate the development and execution of Mega/A+ campaigns throughout the marketing calendar
  • Responsible to advocate and guide local teams on the latest offline tactics
  • Responsible to coordinating and executing plans across multiple departments to meet deadlines and add value to the Marketing team
  • Initiating new ideas for test & learn
  • Identify business gaps and develop business strategy proposals
  • Responsible to manage and analyze metrics data in order to determine the ROI of marketing efforts and identify opportunities for improvement
  • A team player that can build inclusive, collaborative and efficient working relationships across marketing and business functions

Requirements

  • Completed Master’s degree in the field of Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, social media, strategy or management consultancy intensive role – a background in tech startups or advertising agencies is preferred
  • Experienced in overseeing and managing large teams
  • Creative and entrepreneurial mindset, results-oriented
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of industry’s best practices
