We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead marketing and business development across our three properties — two casinos (Pokhara and Janakpur) and our game zone in Kathmandu.

This is a dual role combining on-the-ground business development with overall marketing leadership. In the near term, the candidate will manage our external marketing agency; as the group grows, the candidate will build and lead our own in-house marketing team. The ideal candidate is equally strong meeting agents and hotel partners in the field, setting marketing strategy, and directing digital marketing execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (on the ground — core of the role)

Build and manage relationships with Indian, Chinese and domestic tour operators, travel agents and hotels to drive footfall to the casino.
Visit hotels, bars, clubs and partners across Pokhara and the Indian border corridor to build referral and package partnerships.
Develop channels to reach the Chinese tourist segment through partnerships with Chinese-focused tour operators, hotels and agents.
Negotiate tie-ups, commissions and promotional partnerships.
Drive the tour-operator pipeline that brings Indian tourists across the Sunauli/Belahiya border.
Represent the casino at tourism and trade events.

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

Own the overall marketing strategy and plan across all three properties.
Manage the marketing budget and report ROI (footfall, new patrons, revenue) to ownership.
Plan and execute peak-season campaigns (Dashain/Tihar) and signature events.
Build and protect the group brand across casino and entertainment properties.

Agency & Team Management

In the near term, manage and direct the external marketing agency — brief them, hold them accountable and ensure they deliver measurable results.
Build, hire and lead the in-house marketing team as the group transitions away from the agency.
Set digital marketing direction (social media, WhatsApp, WeChat, paid campaigns, content) and ensure strong execution, whether by agency or in-house team.

Growth & Retention

Drive footfall for peak seasons and reduce the impact of off-season troughs.
Target the Indian and Chinese tourist markets as the primary customer bases.
Design retention and win-back campaigns to convert one-time visitors into repeat patrons, with particular focus on the high-frequency Chinese segment.
Activate WhatsApp, WeChat and digital channels for the Indian and Chinese segments.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 6 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 6 to 10 years in marketing and/or business development, with senior leadership experience.
Strong on-the-ground business development and relationship-building, with a proven ability to bring in business through partnerships.
Hospitality, casino, tourism or entertainment experience strongly preferred.
Deep familiarity with the Indian tourist market; experience with or access to the Chinese tourist market a strong advantage.
Able to direct digital marketing (agency or in-house) — understands digital even if not executing it personally.
Strong network in the travel, tourism and hospitality trade is a major advantage.
Willing to travel constantly between Pokhara, the border areas, Janakpur and Kathmandu.
Fluent in Nepali and Hindi (essential for the Indian market and agents); English required. Chinese (Mandarin) a nice-to-have.
