About the job

The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of NPEA, managing stakeholder relationships, coordinating events and advocacy efforts, and ensuring the strategic growth of the association. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of private equity, venture capital, and financial markets, along with exceptional communication and organizational skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Operations 

  • Develop and implement initiatives that align with NPEA’s mission and strategic objectives.
  • Manage the association’s day-to-day operations, including financial oversight and reporting.
  • Work closely with the board of directors and funding partners to drive key projects and initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy 

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with investors, entrepreneurs, government agencies, regulators, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Represent NPEA or coordinate its representation in discussions with policymakers to advocate for a regulatory environment conducive to private equity and venture capital growth.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with local and international organizations to amplify NPEA’s impact. 

Events & Programs Management 

  • Plan and execute conferences, networking events, and capacity-building programs for members and industry professionals. 
  • Oversee the development of training workshops, seminars, and research initiatives. 

Research & Industry Insights

  • Lead market research efforts to track industry trends, policy developments, and investment opportunities. 
  • Produce reports, whitepapers, and insights on Nepal’s private equity and venture capital landscape. 

Membership Growth & Engagement 

  • Develop strategies to attract new members and enhance value for existing members. 
  • Manage member communications, including newsletters, updates, and engagement programs. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the finance or similar industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Nepali. 
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive initiatives independently. 
  • Experience in organizing industry events and advocacy programs is a plus. 
  • Understanding of Nepal’s financial and regulatory landscape is preferred.
