Sattya is seeking a Manager to oversee and grow its creative initiatives. The ideal candidate is an organized leader with experience in arts, culture, community engagement, and program management. This role is perfect for someone who has strong leadership skills and is committed to growing Kathmandu’s creative community.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Program Management

  • Oversee and coordinate Sattya’s initiatives, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Develop and manage programming, workshops, and community events.
  • Maintain budgets, logistics, and operational workflows across different initiatives.

Community & Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain relationships with artists, creatives, makers, and community partners.
  • Expand Sattya’s network by collaborating with organizations and businesses.
  • Promote skill-sharing and creative collaboration within the community.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Oversee marketing efforts, including social media and community engagement.
  • Support the growth of the Spotted newsletter, increasing visibility and impact.
  • Develop promotional strategies to increase participation in Sattya’s programs.

Team & Volunteer Coordination

  • Lead and support a small team, including volunteers and collaborators.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to individuals working on Sattya projects.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.

Fundraising & Sustainability

  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities, sponsorships to sustain and expand Sattya.
  • Develop revenue streams, such as memberships, events, and service-based offerings.
  • Manage financial planning and budgeting to ensure long-term sustainability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in community management, arts/culture programming, project management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Experience in event planning, program management and partnership building.
  • Passion for the arts and creative communities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and email outreach is a plus.
  • Ability to fundraise, write grants, and develop sponsorships is a plus.
