Job Summary: The Mall Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the mall, ensuring that all aspects of the property are running smoothly and efficiently. This role involves tenant management, customer service, security, maintenance, and financial oversight. The Mall Manager ensures that the mall provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the mall, including maintenance, security, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and mall policies.

Tenant Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all tenants.
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with lease negotiations and renewals.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the mall's annual budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Approve expenditures and manage operational costs effectively.

Marketing and Promotions:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and marketing campaigns.
  • Foster relationships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance mall visibility and traffic.

Maintenance and Security:

  • Ensure that the mall is well-maintained and that any maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
  • Oversee security operations to ensure a safe environment for customers and tenants.

Customer Service:

  • Enhance the customer experience by ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Address customer feedback and concerns effectively.

Staff Management:

  • Hire, train, and supervise mall staff, including maintenance, security, and customer service personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, property management, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and property management software.
