A Maintenance Engineer will report to Operations Manager and needs to perform installation, maintenance and repair of all machines and equipment of mall in a highly skilled, safe and professional manner and need to possess a high degree of independent judgment.

Major Responsibilities

• Organizing routine servicing schedules and carrying out quality inspections on the tools, electricity supplies and machines of the mall
• Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns and fixing faults or arranging for replacements to be installed
• Keeping Operations Manager informed of progress
• Ensuring of oiling and cleaning machinery and parts and overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety procedures
• Performing maintenance check on the tools and machinery before and after use for damage, hours used,  mileage, fuel levels, safety decals and safety compliance
• Communicating with lead technician, counter person and/or service manager for equipment maintenance requirements and repair parts
• Using a high degree of independent judgment, is responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of a variety of Mall equipment, tools and machineries when necessary and without supervision, accurately order needed parts using reference material as required, including communication with all necessary vendors and suppliers

Required Qualification & Skills    

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 4-5 years relevant experience in shopping center/mall/hotel
• Good problem-solving skills
• The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team
• Ability to diagnose all equipment in mall fleet without supervision; ability to read, follow, understand, communicate schematics
• Flexible to work as per the requirement
