Role overview

• Oversee the overall data management of the project and ensure quality monitoring data is collected timely, critically analyzed, validated, and reported.
• Develop data collection tools, templates, and methodologies to collect project required data and report.
• Lead on collecting dis-aggregated data and ensure processes related with data management are in line with the donor requirement and compliance.
• Ensure pre and post-test evaluations are administered with primary actors from project interventions and feed them into appliable log frame indicators.
• Ensure gender lens applied during data analysis and provide recommendations accordingly.
• Ensure data confidentiality is maintained throughout the project activities especially monitoring and evaluation activities.

Skills, qualifications and experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Essential

• At least Bachelor’s Degree in social science/ Management or other relevant field of study with 2 years of project data management, reporting and implementation experience. Preference will be given to the one who has experience working in GBV related project.
• Fluent in English and Nepali language (writing and speaking)

Knowledge/qualifications:
Knowledge and experience of the data management, data analysis, reporting and information dissemination.

Experience:

• Experience of writing success stories that show impact of the project activities.
• Experience on report writing.
• Proven experiences working in diverse and multicultural team.

Skills/Abilities:

• Activity planning, facilitation, and planning/follow-up skills
• IT (MS office) proficiency
• Proficiency in excel especially working with data and conducting analysis.
• Able to frequently travel.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of working with/as volunteer.
• Ability to understand and speak local language of the district/community.
• Experience of developing IEC materials
