Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as a Lower Secondary English Teacher at Gyanodaya Bal Batika School. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English at the lower secondary level and be passionate about helping students develop their English language skills.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
Teach English language skills including reading, writing, and speaking
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students
Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with other teachers to develop cross-curricular activities and projects
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
Attend school meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices in education
Participate in school events and activities to promote a sense of community and school pride
