Job Description

Your Mission

As the Logistics coordinator, you will help drive Samayama’s operations by coordinating the logistical needs of pick up and deliveries with our delivery riders and merchants. A crucial aspect of the role is not just in ensuring the packages and COD are delivered and accounted for properly, but also to give timely updates to the various parties involved.

With this opportunity you will

  • Manage daily order processing which includes data entry, coordination with merchant partners and delivery riders 
  • Consolidate, compile and sort information that comes from various sources in an organised and accurate manner and disburse that information where and when required
  • Manage all logistical coordination with merchant partners and riders as required to ensure safe and on-time delivery of orders
  • Plan package pick up and deliveries together with logistics team to ensure effective and efficient routing of delivery riders 
  • Coordinate with finance team to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of Cash on Delivery (COD) transfers to merchant partners
  • Manage multiple sorting centres and ensure efficient process flows are maintained and improved upon
  • Fulfill customer service roles with merchant partners and their customers as and when required 
  • Identify merchant partners needs and help them solve problems when necessary
We expect you to have

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively derive the best from the logistics team and clear and precise communication with delivery partners.
  • A meticulous mind to keep track of small details as there are always several moving parts in a logistical operation. 
  • Ability to constant evolve and adapt to a fast moving and high growth industry 
  • Negotiation skills are a plus.
  • Two-wheeler/four-wheeler vehicle with a licence is a must.
