Job Description

  • Serve as the Local Program Leader for WAWCAS program in accordance with SLISHA objectives, policies and guidelines.
  • Set-up, develop, train and run women groups and children groups.
  • Conduct Issue based trainings to the women groups and children groups.
  • Scheduling seed fund for group members and ensuring repayments.
  • Coordinate with local authorities.
  • Prepare and timely submission of monthly reports.
  • Develop bulletins and case studies based on Women's and Children voice..
  • Make sure Children of group members attend school regularly.
  • Initiate and strengthen community social empowerment activities through participatory approaches to reduce social exclusion.
  • Make regular follow-up and monitor groups.
  • Maintain and update data of women groups and child groups in WAWCAS Data System.
  • Conduct meetings and follow-up with WAWCAS local NGOs.
  • Conduct Home and Business Visits to the group members.
  • Follow up with group members regarding their business and family situation.
  • Conduct various trainings and workshops for the group members.
  • Form and facilitate 3 Women groups and 1 Child group every year.
  • Work in a Participatory Approach with the Women and Child group and the team.
  • Write a blog for one woman citing the Social and Economic changes.
  • Analyze the data and develop a follow up plan for the women accordingly.

Note: 

  • Selected candidates will undergo 3 months intensive training in Kathmandu.
  • Should be staying in the field.
  • Freshers are encouraged to apply.
