Required Qualification and Experience:

• At least two years of relevant experiences in the related field.
• Familiar with local situation, language and culture.
• Broad understanding of food security and agro-based enterprise development in Nepal.
• Knowledge on disaster risk management, health and nutrition will be an advantage.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Nepali.
• Candidate with a valid motor bike driving license will be an advantage.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Carry out activities based on approved plan and budget.
• Timely reporting of accomplished activities to Program Manager and update field condition accordingly.
• Coaching, mentoring and assisting field staffs.
• Regular follow up and monitoring of the progress in the field of livelihoods and nutrition.
• Plan and deliver relevant trainings on livelihoods, including food security, disaster risk reduction, climate smart agriculture practices, rural entrepreneurship development and cooperatives management.
• Liaise, as necessary, with local authorities and donor agencies to ensure good coordination and timely approval.
