Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Officer to provide legal and regulatory support to the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling legal documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying legal risks, and providing timely legal advice and support to management and relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal and regulatory advice on matters related to the company and its operations.
Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain agreements, contracts, legal documents, notices, and official correspondence.
Assist in ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, Labour Act, tax laws, and other applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Identify, assess, and advise management on potential legal risks and recommend appropriate measures to minimize such risks.
Provide legal support in corporate, contractual, employment, and other business-related matters.
Maintain, organize, and safeguard the company’s legal records, agreements, documents, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and keep the company updated on relevant changes in laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with external legal advisors, government authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders when required.
Provide necessary legal guidance and support to management and relevant departments.
Perform other legal and compliance-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Required Age:More than 24 years

Other Specification

Must have completed at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university and obtained a Certificate of Advocate from the Nepal Bar Council.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the legal field.
Sound knowledge of Company Law, Contract Law, Labour Law, and Business/Corporate Law.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English.
Good analytical, legal research, drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
