Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Legal Intern – Recovery will support the legal and recovery team in handling debt recovery cases, documentation, and coordination with internal departments and external parties. This role provides practical exposure to legal procedures, compliance, and financial recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Regular follow-up with customers/debtors for pending dues
Ensuring proper documentation and record of communication
Prioritizing cases based on amount and aging
Visiting clients for physical follow-up and verification (if necessary)
Maintaining proper records of dues, notices, and recovery status
Assist in preparation and review of legal documents related to recovery cases
Support in drafting notices, demand letters, and legal correspondences
Maintain and organize case files and legal records
Coordinate with banks, legal advisors, and recovery agents
Follow up on outstanding dues and recovery status
Assist in court-related documentation and case tracking (if applicable)
Conduct basic legal research related to recovery laws and procedures
Support compliance with company policies and applicable laws

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law (LLB)
Basic understanding of legal procedures and documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Note: Candidate must have a two-wheeler with a valid license.
