Role overview:

  • The organization is seeking qualified candidates for Karnali Province office, based in Surkhet .
  • Duration of the employment- 11.5 months starting from 15 January 2023.
  • Provide legal counselling to the beneficiaries of the project and document them. 
  • Coordinate with Project Manager, District Board Members, District Staff Members and WHR Team to implement the project activities effectively and efficiently.
  • Support to plan monthly, quarterly, and annual plan of the project.
  • Write and prepare reports and legal documents to assist the beneficiaries with legal aid.
  • Work in close coordination and collaboration with respective board members ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work in close coordination and collaboration with local governmental stakeholders to achieve project as well as organizational objectives.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly legal report to Project Manager.
  • Monitoring visit in the project areas under their respective province.

Required qualification:

  • Advocate/ Bar Exam License Holder
  • With 3-5 years of working experience in the related field 
  • Excellent communication, coordination and public relation skills
  • Case handling and documentation skills
  • Proven knowledge/understanding/experience of the issues of sexual and gender based violence, survivors and marginalized communities.
