Role Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal matters, providing support to senior corporate lawyer and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues affecting the company.
  • Drafting and Reviewing Documents: Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company's interests are protected.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Litigation Support: Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution processes, including liaising with external counsel.
  • Advisory: Provide legal advice to various departments within the company on a range of legal issues.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Legal knowledge and expertise in legal document preparation
  • Analytical skills to assess legal issues
  • Strong communication abilities for effective interaction
  • Experience working with diverse legal matters
  • Understanding of corporate and commercial law
  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. A Master's degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
