The purpose of this position is to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless integrations between various systems and platforms, with a focus on data collection, parsing, and manipulation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of various security tools and data sources into our SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) platform, contributing to the overall security posture of our organization. 

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party security tools, threat intelligence feeds, and log sources into the SIEM platform. 
• Collaborate with vendors to understand API specifications and ensure smooth integration processes. 
• Architect and implement Flask-based APIs and integrations for efficient data ingestion and processing within the SIEM environment. 
• Drive innovation by researching, evaluating, and implementing new integration technologies and methodologies. 
• Demonstrate enthusiasm in bridging gaps arising from third-party vendor technology developments, ensuring seamless interoperability of our products. 
• Research and integrate third-party solutions and emerging technologies, producing professional technical documentation for both internal and external use. 
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the team. 
• Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. 
• Establish quality standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding best practices, security protocols, and industry standards. 
• Conduct technical research, evaluate emerging technologies, and propose innovative solutions for continual product enhancement. 
• Lead efforts in troubleshooting complex issues and provide strategic guidance to resolve technical challenges. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
• 8+ years of proven software development experience. 
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JAVA, PHP, etc. Having experience with Python will be advantageous. 
• Knowledge of scripting languages: shell, Perl, PowerShell. 
• Proficiency in modern API frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. 
• Good knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP) and application layer protocols (e.g., DNS, DHCP). 
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. 
• Experience with multi-threading and multi-process strategies to enhance system concurrency and performance. 
• In-depth understanding of system architecture design, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization. 
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. 
• Familiarity with security principles and secure coding practices. 
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. 
• Leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding technical teams. 
• Excellent communication skills with cross-functional collaboration abilities.
